Records in this database have been compiled by local society members using the cemetery databases to locate Civil War veterans' gravesites and by walking the cemeteries to locate military issued headstones. Many veterans were members of the local GAR (Great Army of the Republic) Starr King Post #52 and will be so noted on the veteran's record.
This database is a work in progress and most headstone photos have not yet been added.
